The word is the power of the Goddess, and within us Matangi (one of the wisdom Goddess) is the powers of speech (Vak). She allows us to speak, the divine voice within us. Unfortunately, we seldom honor the Goddess by treating our speech as sacred. Using our brains we frequently use our speech in a destructive manner, as our speech seem to come from the ego.
